Armed Robbery at Bloomfield Township Gas Station

The assailant brandished a gun and took an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Investigators with the Bloomfield Township Police Department are still looking for information about a man that robbed a gas station clerk at gunpoint on Wednesday.

The assailant entered the Mobil station at the corner of Long Lake and Telegraph Road at about 1:15 a.m. and demanded money from the clerk while flashing a handgun, police reports said. The clerk handed over cash and the man left in a silver sedan. No one was injured.

Authorities could not provide a detailed description of either the gunman or the vehicle. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the detective bureau at 248-433-7760.
