Motorists Arrested for Drinking, Smoking Pot in Bloomfield Township

Bloomfield Township police officers arrested two motorists for being intoxicated behind the wheel this week, reports said.

Officers responded to calls about a suspicious vehicle parked at the end of the street in the 5000 block of Hickory Bend on April 1. They spoke with the driver and detected the odor of marijuana, reports said. Officers searched the vehicle and found a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

They arrested Brandon Green, 23, of Bloomfield Township without incident, and cited him for possession of both drugs and drug paraphernalia. He posted an undisclosed bond and was released, pending a hearing in 48th District Court, reports said.

Officers also arrested a 23-year-old Mount Morris woman on April 2 for having a blood alcohol level of .15 while driving along Telegraph Road, reports said.

Officers stopped Tiffany Loisell's vehicle after seeing her drive erratically in the area of Telegraph and Long Lake Road at about 3:30 a.m., reports said. They could smell alcohol on her and she failed multiple sobriety tests. She was charged with one count of operating while intoxicated and was released pending a court hearing.
