Police Investigate Pharmacy Burglary in Bloomfield Township

The Dec. 27 break-in at the Woodward Pharmacy may be connected to another in Clinton Township, police said.


Detectives with the Bloomfield Township Police Department are investigating a possible link between a pharmacy break-in on the township's north side and another that occurred in Clinton Township on the same day, authorities said.

Officers responded to a security alarm at the Woodward Pharmacy, located at 42557 Woodward Ave., about about 4:30 a.m. Dec. 27 and found the 
front door pried open. Surveillance video showed three men wearing hoodies and their faces covered broke in and stole several non-narcotic medications before fleeing. 

About an hour later, investigators learned that a pharmacy burglary in Clinton Township and are trying to see if the two incidents are related. No further details and no suspect information was immediately made available.
