Here are the 12 questions that applicants for the vacant trustee position in Bloomfield Township must submit written responses to by Aug. 25.

4. What kind of community service or involvement in the township issues have you had over the years, either official or unofficial?

5. The position of Bloomfield Township Trustee is an elected partisan position. What is the history of your political involvement.

6. What type of special skills or attributes do you possess that would benefit the township and or the Board of Trustees?

7. If it appeared that you would be the only "no" vote on an issue bevore the Board of Trustees, how would you handle it? Would you go along with the majority to maintain consensus? Would you stay firm on your conviction? Why? Why not?

8. What is your view on local control of land use issues?

9. If appointed to the Board of Trustees, would you plan on running to retain a seat in the 2012 election?

10. What is your experience with budget and fiscal policy?
