Feature Photos: Oakland County Commissioners Take Oath of Office

Incumbent Oakland County commissioners officially begin to represent their new districts.

It didn't have the pomp and circumstance of the Presidential Inauguration, but the Oakland County Commissioners recently also took the oaths of office in a smaller ceremony to start 2013.

After taking the official oath, Commissioner Shelley Goodman Taub, R-District 12, was named Oakland County Board of Commissioners Caucus Republican Chairperson. Her district includes Bloomfield Township, Bloomfield Hills, and Birmingham.

Marcia Gershenson, D-District 13, will serve as Democratic Caucus Chairperson of the board. Her district includes Bloomfield Township, West Bloomfield Township and Farmington Hills.
