McCready Hosts May Office Hours in Bloomfield Township

The freshman member of the State House of Representatives will meet with constituents on the heels of votes on drug testing, and millage funding for the Detroit Zoo and Detroit Institute of Arts.

Do you agree with State Rep. Mike McCready (R-Bloomfield Hills) that welfare recipients should be drug tested and have children that are not truants in order to receive benefits? Do you support his decision on a two-bill package that ensures local municipalities cannot capture millage funds intended for the Detroit Zoo or the Detroit Institute of Arts?

McCready, who was elected to represent the 40th District in the State House of Representatives last fall, was among the overwhelming majority of Republican legislators to support each of the bills mentioned above during votes in Lansing this week, according to Michigan Votes.
