Mike McCready Celebrates Reading with Students

The Bloomfield area's newest representative visited classes at Sheiko Elementary earlier this week.

State Rep. Mike McCready (R-Bloomfield Hills) gave back to some of the area's youngest minds this week by celebrating National Reading Month with elementary students at West Bloomfield's Sheiko Elementary.

McCready was elected to his first term in the Michigan House of Representatives last fall. He now represents Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township, Birmingham, and a portion of West Bloomfield. The local businessman and father of two read to Ms. Strutton, Ms. Bain, Ms. Maurer, Ms. McDowell and Ms. Schumacher's classes in honor of National Reading Month, according to a news release.
