On the Agenda: Commissioners to Discuss Road Improvements, Court Security and Tree Program

City Manager Jay Cravens will also present a state-of-the-city memo to commissioners.

The Bloomfield Hills City Commission will discuss plans for road improvements throughout the community as well as its responsibility to the 48th District Court at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.

Funding for Phase 3 of the city's road improvement plan is on the agenda, and City Manager Jay Cravens will summarize the annual road improvement millage and prospective plans to do work on Epping Lane, Orchard Ridge North, Kensington South and the Manorwood/Chestwood subdivisions. Documents show that the city has $259,000 from a 0.35-mill annual road improvement fund, and there may also be some funds left over from last year's road projects.

The commission will also discuss a mutual aid program with the six other communities that are served by the 48th District Court in Bloomfield Township. The mutual aid agreement would allow officers to respond to emergencies at the court.
