Who's Running for the Bloomfield Hills Schools Board on Nov. 6?
The filing deadline for two positions on the BHS Board and other local races was Tuesday.
Earlier this week, for seats impacting Bloomfield Township and Bloomfield Hills in the Nov. 6 general election.
Though we already knew who will be on the ballot for various state and regional elections , these races weren't official until now.

Bloomfield Hills Schools
Residents district-wide will be asked to vote for two members of the , while also voting for one person to serve a partial term on the school board.

Running for two regular seats on the Bloomfield Hills Board of Education (to serve six-year terms) are:
- Howard Baron
- Ingrid Day, incumbent
- W.F. Moigis
Running for the partial term (to end Dec. 31, 2014) are:
- Joan Berndt, appointed
- Robert Herner, appointed
- Jenny Greenwell

Bloomfield-area residents in the Birmingham School District will choose who to fill two spots on the . School board members serve four-year terms. The candidates include one resident of Bloomfield Hills:

Michael Fenberg
- Incumbent
- On the school board since 2004
- Currently serving as school board president
- Birmingham resident

In addition, Birmingham residents Gillian Levy and David Trott are running for one of two spots on the Oakland Community College Board of Trustees. Board members serve six-year terms.
Beverly Hills
In Beverly Hills, residents will be asked to fill three open spots on the Beverly Hills Village Council. Running for the spots are:

- Tony Lott
- Marianne McLennan
- John Moony
