Feature Photos: Making Room for the New Max Broock

Construction of new offices is next now that demolition is over along southbound Telegraph Road.

You may have noticed the recent construction activity near the southwest corner of Telegraph and Long Lake Roads in Bloomfield Township and wondered 'what's being built next to the Max Broock Realtors offices'?

The answer: it's the new Max Broock Company. Crews recently finished demolition of the one-story office at 4130 Telegraph Road, just south of the company's Bloomfield offices. That was phase one of a two-part plan to redevelop the spot and expand the current office footprint. According to Bloomfield Township documents, the business plans to add nearly 7,300 square feet.

The Bloomfield Township Board of Trustees formally approved the plans in July.

The second phase consists of demolition of the existing buildings from 4066 to 4120 Telegraph, and 4145 to 4152 Dublin for the construction of a new medical office/retail space.

Morning All. I am hoping to get some input on this subject. I heard from a neighbor over the weekend, that the plan is not to build medical or office space. The new proposal is to build a Lifetime Fitness. Has anyone else heard this. My neighbor said he got that from the Planning Department.

I am the manager of the new Max Broock Realtors office and I would like to set the record straight about our building . We are Not. I repeat NOT adding 7300 feet to the existing structure . The entire office will be a bit under that size. We have not extended the current footprint of the north or west of the building and expanded in the back. It is still a single story building and the structure is conforming to the other buildings in the township. After a 3 1/2 year search for a site this location is the best in Township for us. We are proud to stay in the neighborhood we have been so happy in for the past 25 years.
