And U.S. News & World Report’s Top Michigan High School Is ...

The magazine has released its respected annual list of the best high schools in the nation. Was your school one of Michigan's gold, silver or bronze medal winners?

U.S. News & World Report has released its highly regarded annual list of the best public high schools in the nation. Leading Michigan are several schools in Patch communities, including the International Academy at Bloomfield Hills, which topped the list of the state 588 public schools.

Also from the Oakland County suburb was  Bloomfield Hills Andover High School, which was ranked 10th.

Troy had two schools in the Top 20: No. 3 Troy High School, and 18th-ranked Athens High School.

The Top 20 also includes No. 6  Saline High School in Washtenaw County,  and No. 8 Rochester Adams High School in Rochester Hills, No. 12 Ernest W. Seaholm High School in Birmingham and No. 15 Northville High School, all in Oakland County.

20. Huron High School, Ann Arbor

In the 2014 U.S. News Best High Schools rankings, Michigan has 10 schools with gold medals, 50 with silver medals and 131 with bronze medals.
