Andover Students Get Pumped Up For Final Homecoming Weekend

The Andover High School gym rocked with spirit Friday as students and staff celebrated the last homecoming pep rally in school history.

The Andover High School student body rocked the gym Friday as it celebrated the conclusion of Spirit Week and began to get fired up for the final homecoming weekend in school history.

Dressed in different colored shirts representing their graduating class, the students cheered laughed, and honored the annual fall tradition one final time before the planned merger into the new Bloomfield Hills High School next year.

"Homecoming has once again brought out a renewed energy in our student body,"  Principal Rob Durecka said. Students participated in the various “spirit days” dressing up for Andover Spirit Wear Day; Pajama Day, Extreme Weather day, Super Hero Day, and Class T-Shirt Day.
