Save the Date, Fall Sports Tryouts Start Aug. 14
The inaugural athletic teams for the new Bloomfield Hills High School will start to form on Aug. 14.
There's still some snow on the ground, and Spring Sports tryouts were barely two weeks ago, but Aug. 14 will be an important date to mark down on the calendar if you're interested in being a Bloomfield Hills High School Black Hawk next fall.
The initial Black Hawks football team, which began before-school meetings this month, will begin formal tryouts on Aug. 12. Anyone interested should make sure to have a valid physical performed on or after April 15 of this year, so it will be on file well before the first day of tryouts.
With all the changes coming with the merged Bloomfield Hills High School next fall, it's not too early to start thinking about becoming part of the first sports teams in school history.
