The College Bowl Games: Where, When to Watch

There are bowl games every day for the next week; here are some neighborhood establishments where you can catch a beer, a burger and a game.

Here is a list of bowl games and where you can go to grab a drink, chow down on some grub and cheer on your favorite team.

Places to watch the games

There are TVs aplenty, daily drink specials and 24 beers on draft at this new Bloomfield location for this Columbus-based restaurant chain. Grab a meal or just watch a game; the restaurant is open seven days and offers a complete gluten-free menu and free wi-fi.

With lots of big TVs, this longtime Bloomfield restaurant is also a great place to catch a game. Open til 10 Sundays and Mondays, til 11 Tuesday-Thursday and til midnight Friday and Saturday. If you want to Facebook while you watch, there's free wi-fi, too.

  • Spartans: The 12th-ranked Michigan State University Spartans (10-3, 7-1 Big Ten) will play No. 18 Georgia (10-3, 7-1 SEC) in the 26th annual Outback Bowl on Jan. 2 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
  • Wolverines: No. 13 University of Michigan (10-2, 6-2 Big 10) will face 17th-ranked Virginia Tech (11-2, 7-2 ACC) in the Allstate Sugar Bowl on Jan. 3 game at the Superdome in New Orleans.
  • Broncos: Western Michigan University (7-5, 5-3 MAC) will face Purdue (6-6, 4-4 Big 10) in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl on Dec. 27 at Ford Field.
