The Bloomfield Township Fire Department is a full-service department that handles fire suppression and emergency medical response. The central station is located at the southeast corner of Andover and Exeter roads, just west of the township hall.
There are 60 uniformed full-time firefighters on staff that work staggered shifts.
The department hosts an annual open house in October and offers free CPR classes every other month. Tours and speakers on fire safety, fire prevention, and emergency medical services are also available upon request.
