The Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Bloomfield Hills is located on Telegraph Road, in an office complex. The studio is upstairs, and features a spacious dance floor, and a festive atmosphere. The franchise was cofounded by famous dancer Fred Astaire in 1950.
The Fred Astaire Dance Studio offers private lessons, nightly group lessons, and weekly dance parties, where you can dance in an "authentic" party setting. These are all included in the customer's custom designed private dance program. Wedding dance lessons are also available. No partner is neccesary; one will be provided.
All instructors are full-time professionals, and will have students dancing on the first lesson. Lesson times are customized to the student's schedule. Dances students can learn include foxtrot, rumba, salsa, waltz, hustle, tango, cha-cha, swing, merengue and mamba.

I love this studio! The instructors are warm and friendly. The group classes are fun, a great way to meet new friends and pack so much value into the deal. The private lessons give attention to your own personal needs as a dancer. The syllabus gives guidance but your instructors are always trying to make sure your lessons are taking you where you want to go. No better studio to learn to dance in!!!
