West Hills Middle School is one of three middle schools in the Bloomfield Hills Schools district. Led by Principal Heidi Kattula, West Hills is an identified National Exemplary School and is fully accredited by the State of Michigan. In addition, West Hills is an authorized International Baccalaureate middle school in Michigan.

Situated on a wooded 52-acre parcel on Walnut Lake, West Hills offers more than 19 different sports and several enriching co-curricular clubs and activities, in addition to PTO, Parent Visitation Day, Parent/Teacher Conferences, Parent Coffees, Family Dinner Night, the International Club and many other regular and special events designed to promote family involvement at the school.
