Officers with the Bloomfield Township Police Department investigated a rumored threat of a shooting at Lahser High School before winter break, according to a report issued Wednesday. The parent of a Lahser student brought their child to the Bloomfield Township Police Department at about 10 p.m. Dec. 20 after hearing a rumor about a specific student that planned to bring a gun to school and shoot people on Dec. 21, a post on the department's Facebook page stated.
