Township officials said turnout was up for annual showcase of township departments, equipment, and employees.
Bloomfield Township's annual open house was a popular attraction for area residents Sunday afternoon, officials said. There is no official count, but hundreds enjoyed the demonstrations, activities, and opportunities to celebrate the community. The Bloomfield Township Fire Department ran out of their 750 hot dogs early in the afternoon, said Leslie Helwig, the township's director of community relations. Were you at the open house?
