In Photos: Ritchie Boys Reunite in Farmington Hills
The Holocaust Memorial Center hosts a group of World War II veterans who are the focus of a new exhibit.
Thirteen members of the Ritchie Boys, a special band of World War II soldiers who fought a psychological war against the Nazis, attended Sunday's ceremonial opening of “Secret Heroes: The Ritchie Boys,” a new traveling Exhibit at the Holocaust Memorial Center in Farmington Hills. An estimated 300 people attended the opening event, which included comments from Holocaust Memorial Center Executive Director Steve Goldman, and the Color Guard and greetings from Selfridge Army Base. “Secret Heroes: The Ritchie Boys,” runs through Feb. 5, 2012. The Holocaust Memorial Center encourages visitors to tour this exhibit.
