Bloomfield Township Trustees

The Bloomfield Township Board of Trustees meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16 to discuss the Alderbrook School, a non-profit private school proposed for the current Institute for Amorphous Studies at 1050 E. Square Lake Rd.

Black Hawks Futbol

Witness history as the first athletic event on the turf at the new Bloomfield Hills High School gets under way at 5:30 p.m. Monday as the Black Hawks boys soccer team hosts Birmingham Groves High School. Junior Varsity starts at 5:30 p.m., followed by varsity at 7 p.m. Admission is $5.

The Community House Fall Open House

Meet representatives from several of the sponsored clubs and groups at the Community House in Birmingham, and learn about the lasses offered during 20-minute mini-sessions beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Birmingham Networking Event 

Join the Blackwood Club for an exclusive networking event at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27. Tickets are $15 if you RSVP before the event or $20 at the door, and include  appetizers for the first hour, exclusive drink specials and personal introductions to business professionals.

Black Hawks Football

Cheer on the new Bloomfield Hills High School Black Hawks in the school's first-ever home football game against Birmingham Groves High School at 7 p.m. The stadium, located at the former Lahser High School's Dauch Field, will have two entrances, one for students of both schools, and one for general admission.
